As President and CEO of Footprints International, Laura Lynn has been involved in the mortgage/real estate business since the late 80's. She began her career in real estate, moving into the mortgage arena, first as a banker, then a broker. In her best year she originated over 35 million dollars in residential real estate.
She has worn many hats as a broker, broker owner, net branch manager, recruiter, and trainer. She is someone who was out in the field. She relates to every aspect of the industry, including management, processing, and sales.
Laura is also experienced in commercial lending. She has co-taught the commercial training course for, The National Association of Mortgage Brokers. (NAMB) She studied and co-taught many of the Illinois Association of Mortgage Brokers, (IAMB) training courses. She was an instructor for (ETC) Education & Training Corp, of Naperville, IL.
Laura is a graduate of the Illinois Tax Training Institute, where she serves as an instructor. Burke has been “admitted to practice before the IRS”, as an enrolled agent. Burke is planning on taking the Federal Tax Court test in November 2010, to be approved as a United States Tax Court Practitioner, USTCP.
She has written all of the training classes she teaches along with her soon to be released book, Networklogy™, a phrase and title she coined; “Harness the Power Combining traditional networking skills with new technology to bring award winning relationships”. She has also been involved with the Professional Speakers of Illinois, (PSI). Burke was on the board of directors and has written multiple classes for the Institute of Visual Education, an online training company.
She is also an expert author for E-zines.com. Burke has written for numerous industry journals, The Mortgage Press, The Daily Herald and currently has frequent articles in Network Marketing Business Journal, NMBJ.com.
It is Laura's experience that makes her a diversified instructor. She is dedicated to a applying her years of skills and training into her courses.
Burke recently signed a book contract to write a chapter for a new book, Stepping Stones to Success Goals & Proven Strategies from the Industry’s Leading Experts, co-authored with Jack Canfield and Deepak Chopra.
